Specialization

• Educational Studies (Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, Inclusive/Special Education, Social Studies Education, Educational Psychology, Assessment and Evaluation).
• English Language Education (EFL/ESL Teacher Training, English Language Teaching, Literacy and Language Education, Early Reading, Adolescent Reading, Language Development).
• Arabic Language and Islamic Education (Literacy and Language Education, Early Reading, Adolescent Reading, Language Development).
• Mathematics and Science Education (STEM Education, Science Education, Mathematics Education).

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience based on the academic rank applied for:

1. Professor and Associate Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant specialization from a recognized university, with a minimum of 5 years of experience at the preceding academic rank in higher education.
2. Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant specialization from a recognized university, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education or 6 years of teaching experience at the school level.
3. Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Instructor: Master’s degrees in a relevant specialization with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0. Applicants must also demonstrate relevant teaching experience as follows:
   1. Senior Lecturer: minimum 6 years of experience, including at least 2 years as a Lecturer in higher education.
   2. Lecturer: minimum 4 years of teaching experience, including at least 2 years as an instructor in higher education.
4. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arabic and/or English. Most teaching at the college is conducted in Arabic.
5. Develop and review curricula and course materials in alignment with quality assurance standards and the needs of the education sector and the Ministry of Education.
6. Supervise student teachers during practicum and field experiences, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate research and capstone projects.
7. Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
8. Collaborate with university faculty, school teachers, and educational institutions to support professional practice and school improvement initiatives.
9. Contribute to accreditation, assessment, program review, and other quality assurance activities.
10. Integrate educational technologies, innovative pedagogies, and evidence-based practices into teaching and learning.
11. Participate in academic advising, student support, college committees, institutional service, and community engagement activities.
12. Design and deliver professional development programs and initiatives for educators and schools, including public and private school sectors.
13. Candidate should have published articles in high-quality international-refereed journals (e.g., Scopus-indexed) related to the field of specialization.

Preferred Skills

• Strong teaching experience in higher education.
• Teaching experience in early childhood, primary, intermediate, and/or secondary education is highly desirable.
• Experience in designing and delivering professional development programs for teachers
• Evidence of scholarly research and publication.
• Ability to teach effectively in diverse learning environments.
• Experience in curriculum development and educational assessment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic language.
