The University of Bahrain College of Science is in the process of offering a number of academic posts to suitable application at various levels (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer). For the academic year 2022/2023

Departments of Chemistry

Specializations:

  • Analytical Chemistry

  • Physical Chemistry

  • Inorganic Chemistry

  • Organic Chemistry

  • Environmental Chemistry

  • Medecinal Chemistry

 

Recruitment Conditions:

  1. Candidate should have a PhD degree from a recognized university as relevant to the field of specialization for the positions.
  2. Must have an M.Sc. degree from a recognized university as relevant to the field of specialization for the Lecturer position.
  3. Candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and Medecinal Chemistry.
  4. The candidate should have high English language proficiency and should have experience in teaching for at least three years in the English medium, at a recognized university, in the field of specialization
  5. Candidate should have published research articles in high quality international-refereed journals (e.g., Scopus Indexed) related to the field of specialization.
  6. Must have experience in teaching (At least three years for Assistant Professor, five years for Professor and Associate Professor, and minimum of four years for Lecturer).

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV) with personal photo.
  2. A clear photocopy of the applicant’s required qualifications (Ph.D.- Master’s- Bachelor’s).
  3. Completed application form downloaded from the UOB site.
  4. Work experience certificates of the periods mentioned in the C.V.
  5. Academic promotion letter for Professors and Associate Professors only.
  6. Applications should be uploaded through the university portal.
