Recruitment Conditions :

  1. Graduate degree from accredited and internationally recognized university in one of these following fields: primary/early childhood education; educational leadership; inclusive/special education; general pedagogy/curriculum; literacy (early reading, adolescent reading, language development, etc.); and/or instructional technology.
  2. Teaching experience at the primary, intermediate, and/or secondary level is highly desired.
  3. Experience leading teacher professional development is highly desired.
  4. Required experience: at least three years higher education experience for Assistant Professor; four years higher education teaching experience for Lecturer; two years higher education teaching experience for Instructor or four years; five years for Professor and Associate Professor.
  5. Scholarly background demonstrating a current or potential active research program in one of the areas indicated above in point number 1.

  3. A clear photocopy of the applicant’s required qualifications (Ph.D.- Master’s- Bachelor’s).
  4. Work experience certificate/documentation/letter for previous positions held.
  5. Academic promotion letter for candidates wishing to be hired at the level of Professor or Associate Professor.

 Responsibilities:

  1. Teach courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students in either the English or Arabic language.
  2. Work directly with teachers in the public school system.
  3. Develop and deliver programming to support private school educators.
  4. Pursue scholarly collaborations with university faculty and schoolteachers.
  5. Pursue a research agenda relevant to the specialization of the position.
  6. Provide service to the college, the university, and to the wider community.
